A Toy with Type 1 Diabetes
Jerry came to live with us yesterday! Jerry the Bear is a very special toy just for type 1 diabetics. He is designed to help provide comfort and education for young children who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening and terrifying disease.
Jerry has come a long way since his premiere in 2012. He has evolved into a streamlined teddy bear with an amazing, interactive app.
In our home, Jerry is already inseparable from Emmett and even his brother is excited to learn how to take care of Jerry, so he can understand how to help take care of Emmett.
